S.O.A.P. THERAPY GROUP
Learn to wash away Stress, Overwhelm, Anxiety, and Perfectionism
SOAP provides an opportunity for teen girls to seek support and be vulnerable in a safe space of their peers. The comradery and normalization of a group setting will help clients achieve goals faster and realize they are not alone. People will leave the group feeling more empowered, informed, and validated. Each session will work to build the client’s toolbox of ways to manage and reduce anxiety in their lives. To be able to share skills and struggles with a group will translate to communication skills outside of sessions. The group will offer accountability and encouragement to optimize engagement.

BENEFITS
Meet your facilitator
Cara Mazurek
I founded Theraworks in 2021 as a way to bring holistic psychotherapy to teens, women, and families in theCharleston, South Carolina, area. In addition to psychotherapy, I am trained in nutrition and group fitness instruction, and I firmly believe that each person’s body and mind are beautifully connected. Tapping into that principle — as well as a variety of therapy treatments modalities — I help individuals and families process emotions and transform their lives.
